High school student got his yearbook photo re-done because his highlighter didn't 'pop'

Legend of the people.

By Bianca Mastroianni

Not all heroes wear capes, this one in particular, wears a #FLAWLESS highlighter and the most perfect shade of nude lip you ever did see.

James Charles, 17-year-old high school student from Bethlehem, New York, decided his OG yearbook photo was not up to scratch (we've all been there), so decided to do something about it.

The lighting "was not ideal for my make-up,"he told BuzzFeed News.

Bringing in his own lighting, James requested getting the pic redone and we've never been so inspired in our whole damn lives.

"So I retook my senior photos & brought my ring light with me so my highlight would be poppin. I love being extra 💀"

Have you ever seen a more on point highlighter? A brow that is so on fleek you're now looking in the mirror wondering why yours are so un fleek?!

James is an aspiring makeup artist, so that explains the perfect face. But if you're thinking he's vain as all hell, he explains that "I’m actually a pretty reserved person, I promise.

"When I say I’m extra it usually just comes to my makeup looks being extravagant, and I’m also never afraid to drag a local boy when he’s being rude on Twitter."

The now viral pics have accumulated over 30,000 re-tweets and 78,000 likes, not to mention kween Zendaya tweeting him with a simple, "You win."

Pretty much.
