Ariana Grande admits to being bullied

Turns out the pop diva never had the luxury of being too cool for school...

While Ariana Grande has been BFFing celebs like Nicki Minaj and Jessie J left and right, the star admits she was geeky in school and also suffered at the hands of bullies.

The singer revealed to ASOS magazine: “I was in every group. I suppose I was a bit of a nerd, but I also had a good group of friends, too.

“I knew what it was like to be popular, but I also knew what it was like to have my heart broken by bullies."

It seems that now though, Ariana has got one less problem. Despite all her high school woes, she’s got a tight-knit friendship group.

The 21-year-old revealed that her childhood friends Alexa, Aaron and Tyler make sure she stays “grounded and happy”.

The "Love Me Harder" singer also spilled about what we think might be her love language!

She admits she enjoys cooking and spoiling her besties with homemade meals. Her signature dish is an interesting hybrid of quinoa and kale sautéed in teriyaki sauce, served with cashew nuts and avocado. #YUM

Regardless of Ari's shaky school past, she's definitely come out on top with her pop hits "Love Me Harder" and "Break Free", her acting gigs, high-profile love with rapper Big Sean and of course, her sizzling Victoria’s Secret performance.

As they say, success is the sweetest revenge! Ah, we wonder what those bullies are doing now...
