Since the horrific Manchester bombings on May 22 that saw 22 people killed and several more injured following Ariana Grande’s concert, the singer’s mum Joan Grande has gone above and beyond in showing fans her unwavering support and just how much they mean to her and her fam.
At this week’s One Love Manchester concert, which was spearheaded by Ari to raise money for the victims of the attack, the muso’s mum was spotted by fans mingling among the crowd, hugging and chatting to concertgoers while encouraging them to be strong and to never be afraid.
It comes after the mum-of-two reportedly herded as many as ten fans backstage to safety after hearing explosions during the May 22nd attack until they were able to exit the arena.
“What a night! Thank you Manchester for welcoming us back with open arms!” Joan posted to Twitter following the emotional One Love show. “The fortitude of your city is extraordinary!”
