Calvin Harris was in a violent car crash last night and suffered injuries that required an ambulance to take him to a nearby hospital, reports TMZ.
According to the cops, at around 11pm on Friday night in Los Angeles, a VW Bug convertible driven by a 16-year-old girl crossed the centre line and crashed into the Cadillac SUV which Calvin was a passenger. The impact was so hard that one of the passengers of the VW was ejected from the car.
Thankfully, nobody in either car sustained life-threatening injuries. However, Calvin and the driver and passenger of the VW Bug were all transported to a nearby hospital, where the woman who was ejected was treated for a broken pelvis.
TMZ writes that Calvin wanted a private room and when one wasn't available he "hopped off the gurney" and left "against medical advice."
Over on his Facebook page, "Calvin HQ" says he was examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.
We assume Taylor Swift has already made him 15 quarts of homemade chicken noodle soup and written seven songs about the ordeal.
