This news about "Carpool Karaoke" is not what we wanna hear RN

Apple is taking over the world.

The most revolutionary thing to come to television lately is most definitely James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, a segment on The Late Late Show.

Every time a new celeb guest is announced, we respectively lose our marbles and watch it on repeat.

Remember when One Direction hitched a ride? Case in point.

Now, Apple Music has rolled in with their dollars and bought the rights to the segment, with plans to turn into a 16-episode web series.

BUT here's the kicker. There will be a new host.

According to Deadline, "In each episode, celebrities will ride along and sing along with the host as they visit places meaningful to the celebrity, sing tunes from their personal playlists and surprise fans who don’t expect to see big stars belting out tunes one lane over."

Ben Winston, executive producer of The Late Late Show and the new Carpool Karaoke web series producer said:

"We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Apple Music on this exciting new series of Carpool Karaoke.

"The joy of Carpool is both the intimacy it creates, while seeing the love our passengers have for music. Where better to showcase that than with Apple Music."

Sounds great and all, but how will anybody fill James Corden's shoes?
