Chloe Moretz comes back to the big screen as a *very* controversial gay character

This is everything.

Chloe Moretz left the ~movie~ world for a while, when she was campaigning for Hillary Clinton during the U.S. election. She even pulled out of the highly anticipated Little Mermaid remake.

BUT, kween is back, and in a very amazing way.

Chloe is set to play an openly gay character in a new, very controversial movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is called The Miseducation of Cameron Post and this is why it's so important...

Set in 1993, Chloe (who will play Cameron) is caught with the prom queen, and then forced into gay conversion therapy. Yep, that's a thing.

We're cheerin' for Chloe RN, mainly because we can't wait to see her back on the big-screen, but because she is such a good candidate for the role.

In an interview with Nylon, Chloe once spoke about her brother's coming out, and how they were badly bullied.

"To see my brothers struggle with the anxiety of having to come out was awful. The problem is, we live in a society where we have to say the words, ‘I’m coming out.’ No one should care what your sexual orientation is, what color your skin is, or if you’re a man or a woman.”

You go girl.
