Demi Lovato has never been one to remain low-key when it comes to throwing shade, and it looks like she’s not holding back when it comes to her ongoing feud with comedian Kathy Griffin.
After Kathy copped major heat for posting a pic of herself holding a prop meant to look like President Donald Trump’s decapitated head, she spoke out at a press conference tearfully telling attendees that Trump was trying to ‘ruin her life.’
“What’s happening to me has never happened,” she said. “A sitting president of the United States and his grown children and the first lady are personally, I feel, trying to ruin my life forever.”
Meanwhile, Demi was having no sympathy for the 56-year-old, posting a thinly-veiled jab directed at the star.
"I find it funny when bullies play the victim," she shared with her 43 million followers. "Oops. I spilled my tea."
Fans also spotted the singer liking a tweet by her mum which read, "So @kathygriffin states she will continue making fun of people, kinda like she made fun of my daughter @ddlovato for going into treatment," she wrote.
The beef all started waaaay back in 2014 when Kathy was asked on Twitter who was the “biggest celebrity douche” she had met.
“Probably Debbie Lovato. Plus she should calm the f down bout Lady Gaga getting barfed on," she answered.
Then following the VMA’s in 2015, she directed yet another barb towards the 24-year-old’s singing abilities.
"Demi's live singing was very obviously live if you know what I'm saying. And then the rest of the track or tracks #atleastshesang-ish," she posted.
The shade is real, peeps.
