Watch Ellen hold back tears while receiving an award from Obama and try not to weep for days

Seriously, we're still in crying.

By Bianca Mastroianni

On Tuesday, the White House in America held the Medal of Freedom ceremony, and you can only imagine how lit it was.

Okay, not really, but it involved President Barack Obama, Tom Hanks, Michael Jordan, and the best part - Ellen DeGeneres.

While Ellen receives her award, she holds back tears as the host lists off everything great she does for the world, and how she is probably one of the best humans known to mankind. TOO MUCH!!

"In a career spanning three decades, Ellen DeGeneres has lifted our spirits, and brought joy to our lives as a stand-up comic, actor and television star.

"In every role, she reminds us to be kind to one another, and to treat people as each of us wants to be treated.

"In pivotal moments, her courage and candor helped change the hearts and minds of millions of Americans, accelerating our nation's constant drive toward equality and acceptance for all.

"Again and again, Ellen DeGeneres has shown us that a single individual can make the world a more fun, more open, more loving place so long as we just keep swimming."

OMG OMG.

LOOK at this little smile between her and Obama <3.

You're crying, we're crying, your mum's crying, freaking Obama's crying. UGH!

We love her.
