Fifth Harmony have just dragged Camila into next century

This whole Fifth Harmony sitch is as confusing as it is catty, tbh.

So here’s a quick recap of what the eff is going on: Fifth Harmony announced that Camila Cabello was leaving the group just over 24 hours ago.

The announcement post stated that the band were informed of Camila’s departure "via her representatives”, rather than by Camila herself.

Following us so far?

Camila was quick to defend herself as she took to social media to say that she was "shocked” by their statement and confirmed that they "were aware of my feelings” all along.

NOW the remaining members of Fifth (or Fourth?) Harmony have ganged up on Cammy to set the record straight.

A long and srsly hard-core message was posted on the band’s as well as the individual girls’ social media accounts.

They started by telling their fans that they are as "hurt and confused” as their fans and want them to hear "everything from us, unedited, not manipulated, just us, to you.”

“Over the past several months we have consistently made every effort to sit down and discuss the future of Fifth Harmony with Camila,” the message reads. “We have spent the past year and a half (since her initial solo endeavor) trying to communicate to her and her team all of the reasons why we felt Fifth Harmony deserved at least one more album of her time, given the success of this past year that we’d all worked so hard for. We called for group meetings which she refused, we asked L.A. Reid and the label to step in and try to set meetings, which again, she refused. We even went as far as group counseling which she did not show up to. So no, after months of rejection from her and her team, these supposed lengthy conversations in fact never happened, although we pleaded. We have tried with exhausted efforts and hearts to keep this group alive as the five of us, and we want it to be very clear that unfortunately those efforts were not mutual."

They added that "in mid-November, we were informed via her manager that Camila was leaving the group. At that time we were informed that December 18th would be her final performance with Fifth Harmony."

So it looks like the girls were informed of Camila’s exit a month in advance. But to hear it from her manager? That’s kinda cold…

"To watch Camila walk away from this special world we've built with you is tough but we will move forward together," they said. "We are excited to continue to put positivity into the world and light into people's lives. The four of us recognize that we would be NOTHING without Fifth Harmony."

If you’re not crying tears by now, you needa get your heart checked ‘cos it low-key might be made of stone!

The message ends with the girls saying that they are "done engaging in this back and forth” and that the remaining members will continue to put "love and devotion” into the group.
