The DOLLY team get their gangsta on at Australia’s biggest urban music festival — Supafest.
With some of the biggest hip-hop stars in the world in town for Supafest 2012, we knew we were in for one seriously awesome day at Sydney's ANZ stadium.
Armed with our cameras, crump-appropriate outfits and ear plugs (we reckon Chris Brown fans could take on Directioners at a scream-off, honest!) we made our way through the crowd to get a good spot inside the Bling Ring.
Big Sean was first up, thrilling the audience (mostly the ladies!) with his chart-topping hits and smooth dance moves.
Naughty By Nature, one of the biggest breakout acts in hip hop (they've worked with the Biebs, hello!), performed next, singing songs from their latest album "Anthem Inc.". Bringing an incredible live energy to the stage, the Grammy Award winning trio rocked a "hands in the air" vibe throughout their whole set.
Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland and one of the hottest females on the planet (seriously, she's fierce) then took to the stage, performing hits from her latest album "Here I Am". Opening with her worldwide #1 hit "Dilemma", Kelly rocked the stage in fishnet tights and a blue blazer. Mega girl crush!
Then it was time for ladies-favourite Trey Songz to take the stage. Dressed in his signature white singlet, sunglasses and mega-bling, the RnB star serenaded the crowd with his chart-topping love songs. He even had the front row in (adoring) tears!
A tatted-up Chris Brown closed the show (sans Rihanna, despite the rumours), thrilling the crowd with one of his most electrifying performances yet. A highlight? The moment he plucked a fan from the crowd, treating her to a private dance and pash — gasp!
Supafest comes to Melbourne and Perth this weekend — don't miss out! For tickets and more information on this huge all-ages event, head to www.supafest.com.au.
