Demi Lovato and Halsey were seen throwing major shade at each other across the Twitterverse last month, after Demi believed that the blue-haired babe was launching a personal attack on her in an interview.
Speaking to Paper Magazine, Halsey spoke out about straight female singers using experimental hook-ups with women in their songs, calling it ‘damaging’.
"Bisexuality as a taboo,' the singer said. "'Don't tell your mum' or 'We shouldn't do this' or 'This feels so wrong but it's so right'. That narrative is so f------ damaging to bisexuality and its place in society. That's something I've had to fight my whole life and something I still fight."
Many assumed that she was taking aim at the former Disney darl’s tune 'Cool For The Summer' which contains the lyrics, "don't tell your mother."
Demi, who's never one to back down from a good 'ole fashion beef, clapped back at Halsey over Twitter in the sassiest way possible, writing, “You know a song is a hit when people are still talking about the lyrics two years later. #shhhhdonttellyourmother.”
However, it all seems to be water under the bridge for the baben’ duo, with Dems even uploading a super cute snap of herself and Halsey to the ‘gram, captioning the photo, “Ran into this beauty today.”
So there you have it.
The beef between these two talented gals is ~officially~ off the grill.
Until next time, everyone.
