If there's one thing we've learnt about social media, it's to not get attached to certain features.
Facebook/Snapchat/Instagram etc have made it their mission to change whatever they can, whenever they can because ~algorithms~ or what not...
This week, it's Instagram's turn. They have just decided to get rid of their original Photo Maps feature.
Basically, it's the function for you to use location services to tag where each photo was taken, which you can then enter a world map and view.
Sorta creepy, sorta cool.
But, according to Mashable, it was a feature that was "not widely used," therefore it's getting ~eliminated~. You will still be able to tag yourself at places, but opening up that giant map will be imposs.
