It’s no secret that Biebs has had a bit of a rough patch over the past few years with run-ins with both the law and the paparazzi, but it looks like the Sorry singer has finally found himself in a better place than he was in before.
Taking to the ‘gram to open up to his followers, the reformed bad boy posted a snap of his 2014 mug shot beside a recent selfie, writing,
"I LOVE THIS because it reminds me IM NOT EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE BUT THANK GOD IM NOT WHERE I USED TO BE!! THE BEST IS YET TO COME DO YOU BELIEVE IT? (sic)."
The 23-year-old was arrested back in 2014 and charged with driving under the influence and resisting arrest after police stopped him for drag racing in Miami, Florida.
Speaking to Complex Magazine about being locked up following the incident, Justin revealed,
"I went in, and I'm telling you that 24 hours sucked. It was really cold. That was the worst part about it," he said. "It's freezing; it's uncomfortable; there are people in there you just don't want to be around. I had people who were yelling at me. They were saying, 'Bieber! We f--- with you, bro! We love you! Aye! Keep your head up, bro!' It was kind of funny to hear that, especially from cats in jail."
It wasn’t the first or last time the controversial star had been in hot water, with vandalism charges, scuffles with paps, and dissing of his own Beliebers raising eyebrows and damaging the singer's previously ~angelic~ rep.
But it looks like that’s all in the past for the What Do You Mean hit maker, who seems to have turned over a new leaf and kept his nose out of trouble of late. We're proud of you, JB!
