10-year-old Kaycee Rice is undoubtedly talented – with her amazing dance moves and ability to 'twerk' but all it took for her talent to go viral was a little Tweet from Katy Perry.

Katy posted a video from YouTube of Kaycee on her Twitter account, which has over 38 million followers, and it instantly went viral!

The video is taken at a dance competition where Kaycee performs a hip hop solo to Werqin’ Girl by Shangela Laquifa.

Kaycee had no idea that Katy had noticed her video until one of her friends told her. Her mother, Laura Rice, told MailOnline, "It's pretty exciting. We still don't know how Katy found Kaycee and we had no idea it was on Twitter until one of her little fans sent it to her, otherwise we would have never known."

Kaycee's video has been viewed by over 580,000 people and Laura says the dance was choreographed by the best.

"It was choreographed by Tricia Miranda, Missy Elliot's choreographer, who took her under her wing and adores her."
