It was meant to be an evening to celebrate the lives of those killed in the horrific Manchester bombings, yet some viewers of Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester benefit concert have taken aim at one group for the most ridic reason.
Little Mix were among the star-studded line up to perform in the emotional event, and while they ~slayed~ with their energetic performance of hit song ‘Wings’, not everyone was happy with the girls.
“#OneLoveManchester but #LittleMix couldn't take a day off the stripper gear?” one Twitter user critiqued, while another wrote,
“@LittleMix for one night couldn't you put your arse's away?! It's about the cause not the performance! Trust you to lower the tone! #Selfish”
Meanwhile, fans of the Brit babes were having absolutely none of it, and hit back at the haters on Twitter in full force.
“People judging my girls little mix's outfits bc they weren't "lounging gear" idc they still slay and did a great performance shut up,” one fan blasted back, while another said, “people are talking about little mix's outfits, this isn't about their outfits it's about artists coming together for love #OneLoveManchester.”
It comes following controversy last week at Radio One’s Big Weekend, where Perrie Edwards accidentally dropped the f-bomb during Little Mix’s set, forcing broadcasters to cut off their live stream mid-show.
