Worried that your boys from One Direction are losing touch the longer they’re apart? Don’t be! ‘Cos in a recent interview, the eldest member of the band, Louis Tomlinson revealed that and the boys are doing just fine.
The 25-year-old is currently a busy lil bee promoting his debut solo single ’Just Hold On’ in collaboration with legendary DJ, Steve Aoiki.
“People love to write what they want to write but there's no bitterness,” he told Rolling Stone.
“Everyone's just enjoying a schedule that's not as relentless and exploring solo projects,” he continued.
Louis went on to discuss what fans can expect from his upcoming solo album, confirming that it will be ~dancey~ AF.
He admitted that he “wanted to do something that was different enough to One Direction, but not too far away that it's going to alienate the One Direction fans.”
The latest 1D discussion comes just a week after the band took out the British Video of the Year Award at the BRIT Awards for their ’History’ music video.
Louis’ band mate, Liam Payne showed up to accept the award and basically concurred with errythang Louis said in his acceptance speech.
"I know I speak on behalf of the rest of the boys and we cannot believe we are still winning these and the sheer devotion our fans have showed online for this is absolutely amazing,” Liam said.
”So, thank you very much, we've been taking a bit of time out and working on our solo material but you know One Direction is who we are and it's who we always will be and this one's for you so thank you very much."
