Louis Tomlinson’s tribute track to his mother

A million hearts were collectively shattered when news broke that Louis Tomlinson’s mother, Johannah Deakin, had passed away at 42-years-old after fighting leukemia.

In honour of his adoring mother, Louis did what any talented artist would do: he wrote a song about her.

The 24-year-old collaborated with dance music legend, Steve Aoki on the tribute track, Just Hold On.

Tomlinson performed the track on the UK X Factor, where his mother would often come to support him while he was on the show.

Louis’ One Direction band mates, Harry, Liam and Niall flew in to support their friend backstage on the extremely emotional night.

We’re so incredibly proud of Louis for having the courage to perform in his mother’s honour!
