The fire rages on...
Remember how a few weeks ago, Little Mix were absolutely copping it because of their ~revealing~ outfits?
It all started from Spice Girls' alum Mel C, who called the girls "too provocative" when talking to the Sunday Mirror in October. She even went as far to say she didn't want her daughter to look up to them.
"I love Little Mix. I loved them from The X Factor. I just thought they were so different," she said. "But they are getting more provocative. To me, they were kind of the closest thing to the Spice Girls we’ve seen.
"They are all gorgeous and great singers. But they weren’t sexy and it’s got more and more that way. I love them – but I just say, 'Stay you.'"
The girls took the comments in their stride, basically not giving a damn and continued to #slay each performance wearing whatever the hell they pleased.
Some comments go along the lines of...
"@melaniecmusic critiqued @littlemix for doing the exact same thing!!! They try and teach girls the same without posting half naked pictures!!"
"she can't call little mix provocative when she's half naked on Instagram like I said before all for Im powering women and all but don't be a hypocrite!!"
"Oh but Little Mix are too provocative... okay then. Little Mix are sexy and confident not provocative."
"Isn't it a bit hypocritical to blast Little Mix's stage costumes and label them as "too provocative" meanwhile you post photos like this? I'm all for girl power and doing what makes you happy whether that be nudity or not. However, it's important not to look like a hypocrite doing it!"
HmMmMm... whaddya think about this then?
