The finale of The Voice US aired last night, and in a super sweet gesture Miley Cyrus dedicated her performance of Malibu to Ariana Grande and the victims of Monday’s tragic terrorist attack which saw 22 concertgoers killed and many injured at Ari’s show.

Speaking to the audience before performing her new single, the 24-year-old said,

"I'd like to dedicate this song to my good friend Ariana Grande and everyone who experienced that horrific attack yesterday. Our hearts are with you."

We know Miley and Ari go way back, and shortly after the horrible news broke the Wrecking Ball singer took to Instagram to post a photo of her and her fellow pop star, writing,

"Wishing I could give my friend @arianagrande a great big hug right now... love love love you .... so sorry you had to be apart of such a tragic event! my most sincere condolences to anyone and everyone affected by this horrific attack! all I can do is send as much HOPE & PEACE your way! This MUST end! No more war .... no more innocent lives taken .... L-O-V-E 💙❤️💜💚💛"

Harry Styles also took a moment to remember those affected by the attack, stopping his gig in Mexico to pay tribute to the victims and revealing it’s left him with “a hole in his heart”.

“When I booked this show, I wanted to celebrate with you guys. I’ve played some of my favourite shows in Mexico, and it felt right to come and celebrate with you,” he said adding,
“But tonight doesn’t feel like a night to celebrate. Last night, there was a tragedy in my hometown of Manchester, and I have been left with a hole in my heart. I went to my first show in the arena and I’ve had some of the best experiences of my life playing in Manchester.”

He then led the crowd in a minutes silence and revealed he would only be playing a small acoustic set rather than his usual performance given the circumstances.

“We have a choice every single day that we wake up of what you can put into the world and I ask you to please choose love every single day,” he said, adding, “I promise that we will be back very soon to Mexico. We will be back with a full show.”
