He’s the world’s most popular YouTuber, so you’d think that PewDiePie would know what it takes to make a great video and what it takes to make a baaaad one.
Well, apparently he doesn’t ‘cos the 27-year-old has come under fire for using a racial slur in one of his videos.
While gushing about coming 18th place in ‘the 100 most handsome faces of 2016’ awards, PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, showed his excitement by swinging around on his chair, shouting: ”18, 18, 18, Ni---.”
Unsurprisingly, this set the internet on FIRE!
The hashtag #PewDiePieIsOverParty began trending on Twitter with scores of users attacking him for his racist remark.
Despite the fact that he was being attacked for a very serious offense, the YouTuber appeared to be LOLing at the situation.
First, he retweeted this sarcastic post:
Then he tweeted his attackers to let them know that he wasn't going anywhere or apologising for his racist comment.
"Im still here... DISAPPOINTED", he wrote.
Then he appeared to be proud af with the fact that he hit 52 million views on the offensive video.
"We hit 52 million two days ago btw, didnt post because didnt want to ruin the #pewdiepieisoverparty".
And the worst part? This isn't the first time that Felix has been called out for racist remarks.
Last year he got into a racial battle via his YouTube channel, accusing the popular streaming service of sabotaging him because he's white.
Like, dude, you're making crazy amounts of $$$ from sharing videos with millions of people of ALL colours from ALL countries.
Maybe lay off the racist remarks, yeah?
