French police have arrested 17 suspects who have been linked to Kim Kardashian’s horrific armed robbery in a Paris hotel room, where $10 million worth of her jewellery was stolen.
The Associated Press have confirmed that the suspects had been under surveillance for weeks by police investigators before being arrested.
The arrests occurred on 6 a.m. Monday across Paris and its surrounding cities.
One suspect was reportedly identified using DNA found on one of Kim’s stolen jewels that the robbers dropped while they made their getaway on bicycles.
The platinum and diamond-encrusted Jacob & Co. Cross, valued at $33,000, was discovered by a pedestrian and turned into police.
French newspaper Le Monde has reported that a second suspect was identified by DNA evidence found in the hotel room where the robbery took place.
The suspects can legally be held without being charged for up to 96 hours, though as of Monday morning, the suspects have already been brought before magistrates for questioning.
Poor Kimmy will now have to relive her nightmare and watch surveillance footage in order to identify the thieves who bound, gagged and robbed her.
Kim recently retold her horrifying ordeal in a new promo for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
"They're going to shoot me in the back," she recalls in the clip. "There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it."
The ordeal left the mother of two so badly rattled that she took a step away from the spotlight and decided to lay low on social media for three months.
Hopefully Kim can put this all behind her soon!
