It might come as a little bit of a shock considering their past but YouTube sensation Rebecca Black has released a cover of Miley Cyrus' new song, 'We Can't Stop'.
In 2011, Miley made a statement about people who had become famous via YouTube saying it should "be harder to be an artist". A little while later, Rebecca took a swipe back saying that some people have, "a little jump start in the business, like Miley Cyrus."
But it looks like all has been forgiven, at least on Rebecca's part, after the singer recorded a version of Miley's 'We Can't Stop' and posted it on YouTube, on a Friday of all days.
Rebecca joins forces with Jon D to produce the acoustic version. But, unlike Miley, Rebecca has a squeaky-clean image to maintain which meant modifying a few of Miley's original lyrics.
We wonder what Miley would have to say about that!
Rebecca changed "To my home girls here with the big butt", to "To my home girls here living it up," amongst other lyrics in the song.
We're yet to hear whether Miley has any thoughts on her song being covered via YouTube, but we're hoping she takes it as a form of flattery.
If anything, it serves to remind us that Rebecca Black has a musical range outside of 'Friday'.
Take a listen to the cover below and let us know your thoughts.
