Kendall and Gigi are certified models, but both have received a lot of criticism in the past for using ~fame~ to their advantage.
Rebecca Romijn is the latest ~supermodel~ to express her dislike toward "social media stars" who make it in the modelling industry.
"No-one has proven yet that numbers of followers translates to revenue," Rebecca told Entertainment Tonight."I know a lot of people — legitimate fashion people — can't stand it. Hate it that these, you know, social media stars are now the supermodels in fashion. They are not true supermodels."
She continued to rant about models who are more well-known for their Snapchat stories rather than IRL spreads.
KenGi are defs dominating the social media world RN, but that doesn't mean they haven't #KilledIt in the modelling world too...
"I rely on Vogue to set the standard, not follow what everybody else is doing," she said. "So I have been disappointed that fashion magazines have been supporting this trend of social media stars to set our style standards. But it will change; fashion always does."
We can feel the heat of that burn from here.
