If you were looking for proof that the sisterhood is alive and well, here it is. Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner just used Twitter to defend fellow ~sister~ Emma Watson after she was straight-out bullied by a journalist.

Recently, Emma Watson addressed the UN General Assembly to present #HeForShe’s IMPACT report on gender equality in universities. She brought many important issues to light, including the statistic that 20-25% of women studying on university campuses in the US have been the victim of rape or attempted rape.

We applauded Watson for her ground breaking speech, but naturally, someone had to bring her down. The Sun journalist Rod Little belittled Watson, referring to her as Hermione Granger in his column and making numerous Harry Potter references.

“Hermione Granger has been addressing the United Nations General Assembly,” Little said. “… Anyway, instead of telling them all the rules of Quidditch or how to turn someone into a frog, she bored them all rigid with whining, leftie, PC crap. Just like all actresses do if people are stupid enough to give them the chance.”

However, Turner wasn’t having a bar of it. Yesterday, she replied to Little on Twitter saying, “Rod Liddle .. m8. Emma has more class, intelligence & eloquence in her little finger than you have in ya whole body.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves! You can go shave your back now, Rod Little.
