Looking at the gorgeous Tammin Sursok (AKA Jenna from Pretty Little Liars), it’s hard to believe she’s ever been made fun of in her life, but in an interview with New Idea Tammin proves us all completely wrong as she opens up about being bullied as a teenager for being ‘overweight’.

Rewind back to when Tammin was 14-years-old and she recalls weighing ‘95 kilos’ before eventually losing it all “because I was sick of being teased," she says.

Earlier in the year Tammin shared this inspiring snap of herself as a kid on Instagram, offering encouragement and hope to young fans experiencing the same struggles.

"For all of you being bullied out there. This is me,” she wrote. “Growing up I was overweight and spent most of my adolescence being bullied because of it. I definitely wasn't the popular girl but it didn't define me.

"You can be ANYTHING you want to be in your life,” she adds. “It's your choice which path you take. Don't let other people's words give you your self worth. You are beautiful. I was beautiful. It just took me a long time to love myself. #thisisbeautiful.”

Amen to that.

During the time Tammin was on Home & Away she “had no sense of identity” and “felt really lost, I didn't know which way was up,” she tells the publication. “I was exhausted. I wasn't eating, I wasn't taking care of myself.”

"I was on 100 magazine covers before I turned 21, but I still always considered myself as the overweight girl who was teased and bullied," she adds.

Fast forward and Tammin says having her daughter Pheonix was crucial to changing her outlook. “The minute I had my daughter, I stopped caring about what everyone thought about me,” Tammin says. “I used to be really obsessed with [my image] - I fixated on it a lot.”

As for having another kid, Tammin reveals she ‘really struggled’ throughout the first two years of having Pheonix but, “I look at her now and I'm so disgustingly in love with her - I would give my life for her. That makes me know I want another child.”

Tammin, you keep doing you.
