We never thought we’d live to see the day where another couple would outdo Beyoncé and Jay-Z… But Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris kind of just did it.
Forbes has announced their top earning celebrity couples of 2015 and right at the top, looking down on the peasants, are Queen TayTay and her King, Calvin. The couple who went ~official~ in April made over $146 million combined in the last year.
~Just call her Taylor $$$wift~
The list determines the top-earning entertainers based on their individual income, with Taylor and Calvin coming in first, followed by Bey and Jay, and in third place were Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.
So yeah, that just happened.
The first thing Taylor has done since her fancy new title is allowing Apple to stream her music, ‘cos #QueenDuties.
After single-handedly defeating the giant corporation with the power of words, Taylor decided that Apple’s good behaviour meant they can have a bit of her magic on their new streaming service.
While everyone is super happy, people are wondering what this means for Spotify, a similar existing streaming service who have ALWAYS paid their artist, ($6 million for Taylor a year) despite totally removing all of her music from the app.
“The value of an album is, and will continue to be, based on the amount of heart and soul an artist has bled into a body of work, and the financial value that artists (and their labels) place on their music when it goes out into the marketplace.” Taylor said.
scratches head in confusion

Is it their 15 second adverts? Is it the fact that their jingle is Vance Joy’s song? Is it because you can only listen in shuffle mode on your iPhone?
WE NEED ANSWERS.
