PLL kween Troian has swapped preppy outfits and Rosewood, for Shakespeare and Elizabethan gowns by starring in a modern-day version of Romeo and Juliet.

The short film, titled Still a Rose, is the age-old tale with a serious twist, Troian plays Juliet who is in love with Romeo (standard) except in this version Romeo is a women.

There are only four actors in the film and each play multiple roles in order to re-tell this classic story four different ways – with Romeo and Juliet re-imagined as a gay, lesbian, and interracial couple (as well as the traditional heterosexual).

The film aims to highlight that love is love, no matter of race, gender or sexuality. #EqualLove
