People are CRANKY with Vanessa Hudgens over this fashion accessory

Actually, they're FURIOUS.

By Amber Manto

Here we go again! Another day, another group of people on social media who are stroppy over something to do with cultural appropriation.

This time it’s coz of a certain accessory Vanessa wore in her hair: a dreamcatcher.

Even though Vanessa is of Native American descent, and this item is special in Native American culture… social media STILL went nutso, slamming her for being insensitive.

“'You constantly go out of your way to disrespect cultures to look ~boho. It's rude as f*,” one person wrote.

“'Don't put dreamcatchers in your hair! That you have to constantly be told not to do this and dragged means you are not listening and it's frustrating af!!," wrote another.

Another social media user didn't seem to care about Vanessa's heritage, in their eyes it was no excuse: 'You would think as a Native American woman/descendant she would have a little more respect for Native American items than to wear it as a costume/decoration."

Safe to say the comments section was LIT although mainly it was people defending Vanessa coz they just couldn’t see what the big deal was.

After all SHE’S A NATIVE AMERICAN, WEARING SOMETHING SPECIAL TO NATIVE AMERICANS.

Anyways, the debate is still firing away over on Vanessa's Insta and Twitter.

And that concludes today’s episode of What People are Offended about on Social Media Now. We can all go back to living our lives.
