Barbie has made a one-of-a-kind Zendaya doll for the best reason ever.

UPDATE 28/09

Last week we reported that the Queen of the toy department was releasing a limited edition Zendaya Barbie Doll in honour of her awesomeness, and the moment you’ve been waiting for has FINALLY arrived.

Posing on the pink carpet at the Barbie Rock ‘N Royals Concert Experience in Los Angeles on Saturday Night, Zendaya rocked an adorable lip-printed mini dress, while Mini Z emulated the starlet’s 2015 Oscar’s Vivienne Westwood gown.

“When I was little I couldn't find a Barbie that looked like me,” Zendaya wrote in a touching Instagram post. “My... how times have changed. Thank you @barbie for this honor and for allowing me to be a part of your diversification and expansion of the definition of beauty.”

Z went on to thank her Oscar’s hairstylist Shelby Swain who created the iconic look as well as her Oscar stylist, Law Roach.

Zendaya is living proof that it always pays off to be yourself.

The 19 year old ~Queen~ of everything is known for speaking her mind and totally embracing herself and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

During the 2015 Oscars red carpet, Zendaya rocked up on the red carpet wearing a stunning Vivienne Westwood gown and while her hair as styled in gorgeous long faux locs, which were later dubbed by E! News host Giuliana Rancic as looking like she “smells like patchouli oil” and weed.

Zendaya, like always shut down the haters with dignity and class as she explained on her twitter that her hairstyle was a symbol of “strength and beauty” and an homage to her African American background.

By completely owning every single aspect of who she is and encouraging all girls alike to embrace their diversity, it appears as though the Barbie brand wants to add a lil bit of Zendaya to their life.

Mattel announced via twitter that Z’s confidence and empowering attitude has inspired them to create a one-of-kind doll which will be on display at the Barbie Rock ‘N Royals Concert Experience at the Hollywood Palladium, which will be hosted by Zendaya herself.

“I’m excited to be a part of the new direction the Barbie brand is headed, specifically how they are celebrating diversity in the line and encouraging kids to raise their voices.” Zendaya explained to Newswire.

To make this news EVEN better, Mattel has announced that they will be adding to their collection of dolls, eight new skin tones, 14 different shape, 18 eye colours and 23 hair colours.
