Gigi Hadid: 'I eat burgers to stay sane'

The supermodel-to-be proves that comfort eating is something we ALL do.

During a chat with Refinery 29, Gigi Hadid revealed some preeeeetty supermodel-y stuff and also some not-so-standard-supermod-stuff.

First off, she said her farm upbringing gave her a lot of the #healthspo she knows today.

“I’ve always been a really big fan of just putting the purest stuff in your body," the babe revealed.

OK, OK. But wait for it...

Gigi admits she ain't perfect and that her tummy doesn't always growl for the "purest".

"You find how you feel your best," the 20-year-old mused. "Whether you feel better when you’re eating gluten-free or whatever it is. I feel better when I eat a burger every other night. Eat clean, and work out to stay fit - and have a burger to stay sane."

Gaaaaaah, talk about striking an actually do-able balance.

She also spilled her thoughts about dieting and only taking care of yourself for summer.

“I think it’s cool to find what makes you feel healthy all year-round. That should be your beach body. It’s not about being skinny for three months out of the year; it’s about feeling your best the whole year," she explained.
