There’s been a haunted murder house, a psycho asylum, a coven of homicidal witches, a freaky deaky freak show, a deadly hotel and a Roanoke nightmare, but those themes were NOTHING compared to what’s to come!
Wizard of everything, Ryan Murphy has revealed that the next American Horror Story season will be centred around the horrific 2016 election.
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Murphy spilled the beans on what us horror fans can expect from the successful anthology’s next offering.
"Well, I don't have a title," he told Andy Cohen, "but the season that we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. So, I think that will be interesting for a lot of people."
Naturally, he was then asked if there would be a Trump-esque character in the season, to which he slyly replied ”maybe.”
Aside from the announcement of the terrifying theme, the only other deets that we know so far is that Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson are 3000% returning.
Hm, so we wonder if Evan will be playing the ~controversial~ president-elect?
Or maybe even Sarah will be playing him?
Hey, don’t knock the idea.
Sarah Paulson could play the HELL out of any character she damn well wanted to!
Emphasis on the ”hell” part…
