Hold onto your phone: Facebook is soon gonna force you to use this feature

This might be a big deal to you, it might not. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Like we haven’t had to deal with enough changes of late now Facebook, aka the same peeps behind all those unnecessary Instagram changes is gonna change the way we read our inbox messages. (FYI: In case you didn’t know Insty, Facey and Whatsapp are owned by the same company.)

Don’t have any space left on your iPhone cause the damn Stocks and Health Apps are sucking up all your storage, so you can’t download the data-sucker app that is Messenger?

WELL TOO FREAKIN BAD coz very very soon (no actual date has been given) the mobile browser version of Messenger inbox (so viewing FB on Safari/Chrome etc) will be laid to rest and you're either forced to download the actual app, or will have to wait till you're on a desktop to read your messages.

No wonder FB introduced those 1500 new emojis for the App the other day, softening the blow or buttering us up.

Obvs this is NBD if you’ve already downloaded the offish FB Messenger app (as many of us have) so you can carry on with your day, nothing to concern you here.

But if you've been holding out on getting the app then soz, log into the App Store and hit that download button - better to rip it off like a band-aid now coz this is happening regardless of whether you want it to or not.
