Frozen directors confirm Tarzan conspiracy theory

There's really nothing more satisfying than a fan conspiracy theory being #confirmed.

This one comes in the form of two very beloved Disney classics, Frozen and Tarzan.

That's right, the two are connected in the most insane way ever.

Co-director's of Frozen, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck took to a Reddit AMA in the attempt to blow everyone's minds. And yeah, they succeeded.

Jennifer revealed that Anna and Elsa’s parents — the King and Queen of Arendell — didn’t really die on the boat at sea as the film’s opening scene suggests.

Instead, "They got washed up on a shore in a jungle island. The queen gave birth to a baby boy. They build a treehouse. They get eaten by a leopard…”

Zomg.

Basically, Frozen is the premise to Tarzan and what makes it even more legit is that Chris Buck also co-directed Tarzan.

An interview that Chris had with MTV also confirmed that Elsa and Anna's parents didn't immediately die. "Of course Anna and Elsa's parents didn't die." Leave it to Disney to always have a happy ending.

“There was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat to a little boy. They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas. So in my little head, Anna and Elsa's brother is Tarzan.”

#CantDeal.

As for how the heck they come up with this stuff, well Chris continued to explain that, "When you're working on a feature, you have a lot of time to think about stuff because it takes four years to make one. I think Jen and I were walking to a meeting, and I just start to tell her the entire story.”

Love your work Disney.
