Listen up, Upper East siders.
A Gossip Girl reboot is in talks and we're 3000% all about it.
It's been FOUR years since we said goodbye to Serena, Blair, Chuck and the gang but it seems the greatest TV show of all time (according to us) is READY for its comeback.
Since the original show runners Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick are all adults/parents and probs a tad too old to play high-school students, the show would likely have a fresh new group of Upper East siders.
Executive producer Josh Schwartz spoke to E! at the 2016 ATX TV Festival recently and said that his crew "haven't really explored some of those conversations," adding the "internet has changed" things.
IMAGINE. A GG world with Snapchat, Instagram, FB, Pokemon and all the rest? #YAS.
Although we are 3000% keen for the idea and may have already booked out the lounge room for the show's air date, the whole idea is still ~up in the air~ with Schwartz and co-producer Stephanie Savage adding: "We haven't really thought about it."
However, IRL Serena (Blake Lively) has given the show her tick of approval, telling E! "I don't know, it would be fun. We had such a great time doing that that I think we all would really enjoy that."
Hear that guys? S is totally on board, so what are you waiting for?
