Netflix have just #confirmed the best news everrrrr

About time.

Netflix now lets you download and watch shows offline

Your binge-watching addiction is, frankly, about to get a lot more difficult to manage after Netflix announced on Thursday a life-changing new download function.

That’s right, you can now download any show on Netflix to your device and watch it without an internet connection, meaning you can download at home before going out in order to save your data, not to mention watching when you’re on a flight or hiking in the wilderness – pretty much the last two Netflix-free situations left in modern life.

“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we've often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited," Eddy Wu, director of product innovation, wrote in a blog post.

You heard god damn right, Eddy.

A warning: not everything is available to download just yet (including Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life) but there’s a freakin’ lot, including Stranger Things, The Crown and Narcos. If something you’re obsessed with isn’t available to download, obviously you’ll just have to tweet Netflix relentlessly until they give in.

This just opened up some scary new possibilities when it comes to binge-watching. Good luck, friends. And by 'good luck', we mean 'good luck trying to maintain those Other things like jobs, friends, families and other distractions from your beloved Netflix'.

RIP, all of us.
