J.K. Rowling is a pretty fantastic human. Aside from creating the best fictional series in the whole damn world, she genuinely cares for her fans.
This Harry Potter fan - Kate - is now able to get a tattoo that will help her on her road to recovery all thanks to Miss Rowling.
Tweeting to J.K. about the self-harm struggles she deals with, and how J.K's books have helped her through all the downs in her life - she kindly requested a handwritten "Expecto Patronum" so that she could get it tattooed on her wrist where most of her scars are.
If you're a non Potterhead (how dare you) then you might be wondering "why 'Expecto Patronum'??"
In the books, Rowling has admitted the Dementors were metaphors for the demons in her life - her depression. The spell 'Expecto Patronum' produces a white shield of positive light that drives away those dementors.
Pretty fitting huh?
Of course, without question JK Rowling responded, as she normally does, to the heartfelt message (only 10 minutes later), fulfilling Kate's request.
"I love that you're working to heal and protect yourself," J.K. wrote. "You deserve this. I hope it helps."
Kate respectively lost her marbles at the reply, which we can only imagine involved A LOT of squealing and crying.
Notice how you've never seen Jesus and J.K. Rowling at the same time before?? Just ponder on that for a moment...
