Will Nina Dobrev return for The Vampire Diaries finale

Look, we are in love, no... call it obsessed with The Vampire Diaries here at DOLLY. What with the hot boys, epic love lives and all-round vampireness of the show, what's not to love?

Well, Elena Gilbert missing is a start. Sorry, but the show just hasn't been the same without her.

Now that it's coming to an end (sad face), we're wondering whether or not Nina will make a reappearance for the finale. And we aren't the only ones hoping so.

At CW's Winter TCA Press Tour, Nina was a hot topic on the panel. Mainly, if she will be coming back or not.

Network president Mark Pedowitz told reporters, "The best way I can answer that question is Julie [Plec], Kevin [Williamson], the studio and the CW promise a fantastic series finale."

Recently, Julie Plec told ET that Nina "100 percent” wants to do it, as long as scheduling works out, as well as telling TV Line that "she was very clear about what she wanted the next step in her life to be, and she's doing a great job of achieving that. So I'm sticking with my side of the plan, which is to bring her back at the very end."
