There will be a digital series of Spring Breakers

Let's face it. Spring Breakers was all kinds of messed up. But, undoubtedly the best thing about it was Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson together in one movie as BFFs.

The movie showed the young girls rob a restaurant to fund their Spring Break, and took many weird, twisted turns throughout... and even though James Franco called it a "poison ship", it was all in all bloody iconic.

Now, Deadline reports that Spring Breakers will be remade into a digital series for a new digital platform called Blackpills.

There has been no word on whether or not the original cast would return, so would we even watch it without them? Probably not...

The film's original producers Chris Hanley and Fernando Sulichin have already signed onto the project, so we can expect a pretty similar vibe, and well, fingers crossed that they convince the OG gang to come back for more.
